Standard Envelope Sizes
The standard envelope sizes are:
4″ x 6″ – This is the most common size for greeting cards, thank you cards, and invitations.
5″ x 7″ – This size is commonly used for invitations.
6″ x 9″ – This size envelope can be used for both invitations and marketing materials.
9″ x 12″ – This size envelope is commonly used for marketing materials.

Envelopes for 4×6 Cards

Custom Envelope Sizes

-A6: 4.75″ x 6.5″
-A7: 5.25″ x 7.25″
-A8: 5.5″ x 8.125″
To find the perfect envelope for your card, simply measure the card and add a half inch to each side for the flap. For example, a 4×6 card would require an envelope that is at least 4.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall.
