Standard Sizes
A lot of couples choose to go with standard sizes for their wedding invitations. Standard sizes are 4.25 inches by 5.5 inches, 5 inches by 7 inches, or A7 (5.25 inches by 7.25 inches). These sizes are easy to find and print, and they will fit in a standard envelope. If you want something a little different, you can always go with a non-standard size, but be aware that you might have to pay a little extra for printing.
A7
The A7 size is the most common size for wedding invitations. It is 5 x 7 inches.
A9
A9 is the second smallest size for wedding invitations and can be used for more informal weddings.
Non-Standard Sizes

The first place to look is with companies that specialize in non-standard sizes. These companies usually have a wide selection of square invitations and they may even be able to custom-design an invitation for you.
Another option is to search for invitation companies that offer die-cutting services. Die-cutting is a process that allows companies to cut invitations (and other paper products) into any shape you desire. This means that you could order die-cut square invitations without any trouble at all.
Finally, if you are having difficulty finding square invitations, you could always purchase rectangular invitations and have them professionally trimmed to size. This option will probably be more expensive than purchasing square invitations from a specialty company, but it will give you the exact look you want.
Oversized
Oversized wedding invitations are any invitation that does not fit into a standard A7 envelope. The most common oversized invitation size is 5 x 7 inches, but you can also find invitations that are 4 x 6 inches, 6 x 8 inches, or even 9 x 12 inches. Oversized invitations require extra postage, so be sure to factor that into your budget.
